About Ann


Ann Knowles – Wilmington, NC – Ann holds an M. A. Ed, with advanced studies in ESL, religious journalism, and biblical counseling. She is a freelance writer, editor, and speaker. Her goal is to touch the hearts of her readers with the words she writes. She has published more than 300 articles and devotionals in national, regional, and local magazines and newspapers, and online. She loves teaching online and speaking at writers conferences in order to help other writers learn the craft.

Being a pastor’s wife has given her a heart for ministry and a love for missionaries. Helping new writers polish their work and get it published is her delight. She is passionate about writing for “Christ to the World Ministries” because she can be a missionary through her radio dramas that are heard in 50 language, often in places where missionaries cannot go. She writes stories, book reviews, radio Bible study scripts, and biblical radio dramas. In 2015 she published The Extraordinary Presence of God with Write Integrity Press and has published in five compilations.

She is an advocate for clean speech in all her endeavors. Through editing and mentoring, she strives to bring readers in touch with amazing stories written by Christian authors. She edits, proofreads, and critiques Christian books of all genre. As a retired ESL teachers, she considers ESL students to be one of her specialties. As a former pastor's wife, she reaches out to help pastors turn their sermons into books. She enjoys building cherished friendships with many of her editing clients.

When she's not writing or editing, Ann enjoys family, studying the Bible, and traveling with her husband. Texas owns a little piece of her heart.
